FAQs

What areas do you serve?

I currently call the Los Angeles area home, but I love to travel. I’m happy to paint anywhere in the world, as long as you cover trip expenses! I’m known to fly on a notorious budget airline (yep, that one), which keeps things pretty affordable.

Do I have to know exactly what I want in my custom mural?

Nope!

Part of my job as an artist is to transform your general idea into a super-detailed mural that speaks to you. You can learn all about that process here.

Have a super-specific request? That’s great, too.

How many days does it take to paint a mural?

This totally depends on the size of the space, the wall prep needed, and the design itself. A single wall in an average-size residential room takes between two and five days.

How much does a custom mural cost?

I charge based on the square footage of the wall, plus paint and kit fees, and travel fees when applicable.

Should I move my furniture in advance?

Any indoor or outdoor furniture, or any other movable object near the mural space, will need to be moved. I’m a team of one (and I’m kinda short), so it’s usually in both of our best interests for you to move things in advance.

Do I need to re-paint my wall before adding a mural?

It depends.

If your paint is in good shape and the right color, there’s no need. If it’s cracked or chipped, or if it’s the wrong background color, we’ll need to re-paint.

I offer this service as an add-on!

What kind of paint do you use?

A combination of normal exterior or interior wall paint, and acrylics. It’s pretty standard stuff… the real magic is in the process!

“For years we were constantly disappointed, having to look at the ugly cinder block wall that separated our property from our neighbors. We could not be happier with the final result of our new beach side mural. It finishes off our landscaped backyard beautifully. Every morning when I go outside to exercise, I feel joy and serenity looking at this fantastic mural. I feel like I have my very own private Muscle Beach.”
